Torus consisting of a hollow cap and stem. Cap is conical or oval, varying from gray-brown, ocher brown and blackish in color, the ribs are regular and parallel, cavities are irregular, stem is white to cream-colored, irregular, gnarled and rugged, growing in the spring of cultivated land, parks, gardens.
